The Medieval Times Atlanta is a dinner theater experience that might leave you wondering if you’re in the past or present. However, there are some things you can expect from the experience, like a show and food. Arriving at the castles, the gates will open 60 minutes before showtime, giving you plenty of time for photos, exploring, and mingling with other guests. Once it is close to starting, you will be crowned as part of the kingdom and the color will be according to the Knight you will be cheering for. When you enter the Hall of Arms, your eyes will dance around with excitement—suits of armor line the halls, giant candelabras hang from the ceilings, and treasures abound.
As you settle in with your family or friends, you must prepare yourself to dine using your hands. The four-course feast includes garlic bread, tomato soup, roasted chicken, corn, and potatoes. Vegans and those with gluten allergies are welcome to order from a separate menu. The show will begin as the lights in the arena dim, and you can expect to see horse acts, jousting, and hand-to-hand combat. The knights will compete in various challenges, ultimately determining which one will be named the victor of this tournament. He will then select one lucky lady from the audience to reign as Queen of Love and Beauty. The entire dinner and show take about two hours. Medieval Times is a great place to have fun with your friends and family with just $38.96 for kids and $65.95 for adults, you will get to experience how it feels to feast like royalty.
