At Zoo Camp, kids spend their days exploring the world around them. Each day includes fun activities, games, crafts, hands-on science explorations, and outdoor playtime. Kids also get to meet some of our animals up close. They’ll get a chance to feed some of our animals, learn how they live and grow, and even learn how to care for them.

Camp J’s Winter Sessions is a week program will feature a wide range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, dance and music, swimming, nature and more. Members will get to enjoy an additional discount for registration fee. Also, before and after is available for this camp with an additional fee of $5 to $10 if you are not a member.

Mason Music’s Camp for Preschoolers

Mason Music’s Winter Break Music Camp for Preschoolers is the perfect environment for children to explore musical concepts, like dynamics, tempo, and pitch, while getting an introduction to singing and playing instruments. There will also be time for crafts and musical movement too! This camp is suggested for children ages 3 to 5 who are potty trained and ready for an entertaining experience with music.

McWane camps are great for kids who love learning through play and hands-on exploration. They’re designed to foster curiosity while also introducing campers to new ideas and concepts they can continue thinking about long after camp.

DECEMBER 19-22

UAB Recreation Center Winter Camp

The University of Alabama at Birmingham Campus Recreation Center gives children a fun way to keep active this winter break. This camp will last for four days and lets little Blazers explore adventure sports, create exciting crafts, dive into aquatic activities, and participate in any other activities that the UAB Campus Recreation offers, all under one roof. Campers need to provide their lunch and snack. A 25% deposit is required by the Monday before camp begins for any enrollment of a whole week’s duration. The full payment is due on that date. If you enroll more than one child, you will receive a 5% discount.

Winter Sprouts: The Greatest Show

Throughout the program, students will learn three production numbers, which they will perform at the end of the week for friends and family. This year’s theme is “The Greatest Showman”. The program also teaches students discipline in preparation and memorization skills that they can use in their academic studies. A financial aid program is available as well. The initial deposit is $30, followed by weekly payments of $90.

School’s Out Camp offers a variety of fun and educational activities for kids to enjoy over-scheduled school breaks. Campers are encouraged to make new friends while enjoying indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, positive environment. Dates, times and prices vary as you register by each location below:
