If you’re looking for a place to go and see Christmas lights, check out the Christmas Fantasyland in Calera. In the park, you can drive through or walk around, and with so many fantastic displays and a rotating carousel, it’s hard not to get lost in all the wonder. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a different world. The lights are on from 5:30 to 9 in the evening on weekdays and 5:30 to 10:30 in the evening on weekends.

The Cloutier Christmas Lights are a holiday tradition in Chelsea. Each year, the Cloutier family decorates their house with lights, changing the playlist that accompanies the lights every night. They compete in the 10th season of ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight. You can watch them on ABC on December 12 at 9 PM.
Glow Wild at the Zoo

If you’re looking for a way to start your holiday season this year, check out the Christmas lights displays in Palisades Park. Local churches and businesses have put together an incredible light display this year to put you in the spirit of the season. Admission is free, and donations are accepted. Tune in nightly to WCRL 95.3 for Holly and Jolly Holiday tunes. They’ll be open throughout December except for 24 and 25, from 5 to 9 in the evening.

The Richardson Family Christmas Light Show team is always looking for new volunteers to help with setup and canned food drives. The Rocket Around the Christmas Tree Trail Fundraiser is an event sponsored by the Dick Lee Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is a registered non-profit. Tree sponsors get a 6 to 7-foot Christmas tree set up on the Gardendale Civic Center lawn facing Gardendale High School. A sign will identify your business or sponsorship. You or your team will decorate your tree to promote your business or organization. The displays are free to the public every night from December 6 to January 1.
