The City of Birmingham Tree Lighting is a time-honored tradition that brings together local families and visitors for a vibrant night of entertainment. On Sunday, November 27, 2022, come to Short 20th Street North in front of City Hall for the city’s Holiday Tree Lighting Block Party. There will be vendors, food trucks, live music, and, of course, the Christmas tree lighting.
The event will start from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and will be presented by Mayor Randall L. Woodfin, along with the Birmingham City Council, the Birmingham Park and Rec Board, and Coca-Cola.

City of Birmingham Tree Lighting Event Details
The Magic City Market Place will feature vendors and food trucks from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for free concerts from Ampliphied Noize at 5:15 PM and Dave and the Party Rockers at 6:15 PM
Birmingham choreographer Ursula Smith will present a sample of her annual “Brown Sugar Nutcracker” dance performance at 5:00 PM.
The tree lighting will happen at 6:00 PM.
There will also be samples from Coca-Cola, holiday photo opportunities, and more.
