As a parent, you want what’s best for your child. You want them to be happy and have opportunities to learn and grow. Tinkergarten is a great way for kids to spend time outdoors while they’re learning new things. It’s an educational program that gives children the opportunity to develop their motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving abilities.
What is Tinkergarten?
Tinkergarten is an outdoor play program for children ages 18 months to 8 years old. With the help of an adult, kids will participate in activities like building forts, looking for bugs and painting with natural dyes. The classes focus on getting children outside to play and explore, and they aim to teach kids important life skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
How Tinkergarten Educates through Education
Tinkergarten gets kids outside and moving. They believe that spending time in nature improves children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Classes are designed to give kids the opportunity to explore how they can use their bodies, minds, and imaginations in the real world and their classrooms can help kids build social skills and confidence in a supportive environment where they learn through play and exploration with other kids their own age. Through their activities, children will learn to observe, problem-solve, communicate with others and take on challenges—skills that will help them succeed throughout life.
How Tinkergarten Classes Work
Each class, which will run in a 9-week session program, offers a unique combination of leader-led activities, home resources, and on-demand lessons.
