Tortoise and the Hare at the Dance Foundation

Devious Duck challenges slow Tortoise and fast Hare to settle their differences in a race. However, wise Owl knows that we are more similar than different and that our community is what helps us win. Original music by Post-Cool Art Collective takes us on a journey through the choreography of co-directors Joanna Hardy-West and Taylor Ostronic, along with Grace Kurosaka, CJ Wade and select 3rd through 6th graders from Booker T. Washington K-8 School to find how slow is a tortoise and how fast is a hare. What if they can be both and how do we see ourselves in these characters? An unconventional storytelling of an old classic is fun for the whole family. Saturday, June 22nd at 2:30 will be in Spanish!
