The theme of this year’s J’la Gala, “Growing Stronger Together,” celebrates the critical role that The J plays every year in the lives of thousands. The event, featuring an open-bar cocktail hour and gourmet kosher meal, raises the money that allows us to support many of your favorite community organizations through LJCC memberships and access to our facility and programs, including Girls Inc., Glenwood, Veterans Affairs, I3 Academy, and Collat Jewish Family Services.
In addition, we recognize the crucial work of first responders by giving free memberships to local firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement officers.
From BABYPALOOZA, Birmingham Baby is the local hub to help new and expectant parents connect to resources and information in the metro Birmingham area.
