Mayor Stewart and 104.7 WZZK to Host Irondale Country Fest
Irondale, AL—Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. has partnered with 104.7 WZZK to host Irondale’s first ever Country Fest, which is the final show in Irondale’s 2024 Concert Series. Country Fest will take place at Beacon Park on Saturday, November 2, 2024, with gates opening at 2:00 p.m., and the show beginning at 3:00 p.m. Admission is absolutely free– attendees are asked to donate a canned good or non-perishable food item at the gate to help families in need this holiday season. No tickets are needed.

The Front Men – 90s Country Super Group featuring Richie McDonald (formerly of Lonestar), Larry Stewart (of Restless Heart), and Tim Rushlow (formerly of Little Texas)
Matt Stell – Billboard Charting Artist with “I Prayed for You” and “Everywhere But On”
Tiera Kennedy – Guest on Beyoncé’s Country Album
Deputy 5 – All-Star Country Cover Band
“Events like this play an integral role in helping us to achieve our mission of building community and building the future in the City of Irondale,” stated Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. “We’ve never done a Country concert before, so we are so excited about the partnership with WZZK and the top-tier artists we’ve been able to book. Country Fest is going to be a Party with a Purpose– we’re asking guests to donate a canned good at the gate for FREE admission to the show.”
