Invisible to the Gods: Tattoos and Devotion

Led by Angela May, the Associate Director of Learning and Engagement, this session takes us on a journey exploring the deep spiritual and cultural connections within the art of tattooing. Unravel the often unseen and intriguing links between identity, tattoos and devotion in various cultures.
Reinvigorated for the 2023-2024 season, Art & Conversation gathers art enthusiasts in a relaxed environment to explore diverse art-related topics. These thought-provoking sessions are now held every other month on select Wednesdays and allow for a deeper dive into the world of art beyond our collections and exhibitions. Join us before each talk at 10:30am in our Cafe to enjoy coffee and light snacks courtesy of Juniper at the Museum, our new cafe partners. The lecture begins at 11am in our auditorium.
