Grown-Up Prom

Get ready for a night to remember as you relive your prom experience and create new memories. Join us at The Farrell on Friday, April 11, 2025 to support Family Connection.

Dress up or dust off your old prom attire and dance the night away to music through the decades! This 21+ event will have all of the prom classics – music, dancing, food (heavy hors d’oeuvres), and fun – with a few grown-up twists.

Proceeds raised from this event will benefit Family Connection’s programs and services for runaway and homeless youth and youth in crisis. Family Connection operates the only emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth Alabama. This shelter, located in Alabaster, also provides a residential program for youth in crisis. Project HOPE, Family Connection’s program in Birmingham, is the home of a street outreach team and provides day shelter services to runaway, homeless, and street youth ages 16-21. Family Connection also provides shelter-based, school-based, and community-based counseling services to youth and families.
