Explorer Concert: Peter & the Wolf with Birmingham Children’s Theatre (Grades K-3)

Join the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Birmingham Children’s Theatre in the story of a young boy’s adventure with his grandfather and animal friends! Peter and the Wolf, a “symphonic tale for children” was written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936 to introduce young audiences to the instruments of the orchestra. This reimagined musical adventure is perfect for our youngest audiences, as professional actors and musicians show the audience how each instrument, when combined, can tell a story.
