Unwind with an evening of live music after hours at the BMA. Inspired by the bluesy sounds that galvanized artist Hayward Oubre, the subject of the BMA’s upcoming exhibition, Hayward Oubre: Structural Integrity, this evening features the talents of Alabama native, Elnora Spencer. Based in Birmingham, Spencer has been called one of the “leading ladies of the Blues,” and was the first woman to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Birmingham Blues Hall of Fame.
Schedule: The Museum will be open between 5 and 7PM. The musical performance will be from 5:30 to 6:30.
