“Glimpse of My Soul” delves into the empowering world of burlesque in the Deep South, highlighting the transformative journeys of a diverse group of women as they challenge societal norms and embrace their individuality. The film has already garnered international acclaim, winning awards at the Västerås Film Festival and Nordic Star Festival in Sweden, as well as the Metropolis Film Festival in Milan, Italy.
Following the screening, there will be a special 15-minute performance by the Top Shelf Burlesque troupe, offering an additional layer of connection to the film’s themes of empowerment and self-expression.
